When to Use PUSH PIERS - Foundation Repair Tip Of The Day #69

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgGQX3rNx5c

Did you know we've utilized push piers to lift a home almost 11 entire inches?

Yesterday Brian talked about push piers vs helical piers. In today's #FoundationRepair #TipOfTheDay Brian discusses when an application should use push piers. We typically use push piers when we are going to be attempting to lift a foundation, but it's important to note that the structure we are lifting or stabilizing is heavy enough to allow us to drive the piers off of the structure into the soil. Things like porch stoops or columns are too light for push piers and will require using helical piers, because we want to make the correct fix for our clients the first time!
