Yesterday Brian talked about when we would utilize push piers during a foundation repair project. In today's #FoundationRepair #TipOfTheDay Brian discusses when an application would call for the use of helical piers! We'll typically use helical anchors on lighter structures, because push piers require hydraulically driving the piers off of the foundation. As you've seen in our past videos, the helical anchors have a helix and are hydraulically screwed into the ground at various depths depending on the project. Additionally, some cities and counties have specific requirements for certifications for the products we use... Next week Brian will dive into all the different certifications and how our products are tested.
